IN DEVELOPMENT · TVG × TRADINGVIEW TOOL CONCEPT

Understand the environment.
Before you interpret the trade.

TVG Market Context is an educational TradingView indicator concept that combines trend, momentum, volatility, market state and higher-timeframe alignment in one compact dashboard—without issuing buy or sell signals.

WHY TVG IS BUILDING IT

Five questions. One context panel.

Instead of stacking several indicators simply to describe market conditions, the tool is designed to summarise five contextual questions in one place.

  • Is price directionally aligned with its trend measures?
  • Is momentum supportive, weak or neutral?
  • Is volatility unusually high or low?
  • Does ADX suggest a trending or range-like environment?
  • Does the selected higher timeframe broadly agree?
Status: concept and Pine Script implementation prepared by Trade Vantage Global for partner review. XTB has invited partners to submit TradingView indicator ideas, but this TVG tool has not been represented as accepted, approved or deployed by XTB.

No buy/sell signals

The score describes context. It does not tell a user to open, close or hold a position.

Adjustable inputs

EMA, RSI, ATR, DMI/ADX and higher-timeframe settings can be adapted by the user.

Risk-first design

Volatility is displayed separately rather than treated as a reason to increase directional conviction.

METHODOLOGY AT A GLANCE

How the first prototype works

The directional score combines trend alignment, RSI momentum and higher-timeframe context. ATR relative to its recent baseline is shown separately as a volatility classification, while ADX describes whether the environment appears trending, mixed or range-like.

Important: a high or low score is not a forecast of future returns. Markets can reverse, gap or behave differently from historical relationships. The tool is educational decision support only.
