A 15-minute pre-deposit routine

1. Identify the exact legal entity. Match the company name, licence and official website to the regulator register.
2. Read the current agreement. Look for leverage, stop-out, withdrawal, inactivity, dispute and account-termination clauses.
3. Calculate total cost. Include spreads, commissions, swaps, currency conversion, platform, funding and withdrawal costs.
4. Test the workflow. Use a demo where available and examine platform usability, support and documentation.
5. Compare at least three routes. Avoid making a decision from one advertisement, influencer or promotion.
6. Record the evidence. Save the terms, review date and source used for your decision.
